John has an extensive knowledge of both traditional and urban forestry. He specializes in silvicultural prescriptions such as timber and pine straw sales assistance, reforestation, reclamation, and forest insect & disease infestations. He assists clients with management of habitat for game and non-game wildlife species, including gopher tortoises. He has more than two decades of prescribed burning experience. He also specializes in timberland real estate services. In the urban forestry realm he assists clients with urban forestry planning and arboricultural needs. He is a Lic. FL Real Estate Broker, SAF Certified Forester, ISA Certified Arborist, and a Qualified Tree Risk Assessor. Other interests include church/community service, gardening, camping, fishing, and photography. John and Criss have three sons (Nate, Aaron, Ben) and one precious daughter-in-law (Alyssa, married to Aaron).
John started with NRPS in 1987 as a Consulting Forester and in 2012 became a co-owner of NRPS, Inc.
