Born and raised in Mississippi, Tony graduated from Mississippi State University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry. After working briefly as a seasonal field research technician for Weyerhaeuser Corporation in Columbus, Mississippi, Tony accepted a position with the Florida Division of Forestry as a Forest Ranger in Tallahassee, Florida. In 1987, Tony was promoted to County Forester for Citrus County in Central Florida. In 1989, Tony accepted a forester position with Natural Resource Planning Services, Inc. working out of the Gainesville, Florida office. While working at NRPS, Tony has served as a Senior Forester, Operations Manager for the Gainesville office, and Senior Appraiser. In 2005, Tony was promoted to Chief Operating Officer and now also serves on the NRPS Board of Directors.

Tony’s primary responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations of NRPS, which includes all issues related to project management, personnel, administration, budgeting, and marketing. Additionally, Tony continues to provide NRPS clients with a wide range of services, including land and timber appraisals, forestry consulting, investment analysis, and real estate brokerage.
