Born and raised in Elkin, North Carolina, Tom graduated
from North Carolina State University with a double major
in Forest Management and Agricultural Economics. Tom began
his professional forestry career working for the Florida
Division of Forestry in Broward County. After starting
Natural Resource Planning Services in 1974 with Jack Vogel,
Tom moved to Gainesville and earned a Masters of Agricultural
Management and Resource Development from the University
of Florida. After thirty years of managing the Gainesville
office, Tom now serves on the Board of Directors of NRPS.
He concentrates his efforts on equestrian community development
projects for Southwell Land Company, Inc. and real estate
with Mossy Oak Properties Southeast Forest Investments,
LLC. |
