Born and raised in Edon, Ohio in 1962. Moved to Winter Haven, Florida in 1972. Jeff graduated from the University of Florida in the spring of 1986. Jeff was the Gilchrist County Forester with the Florida Division of Forestry for 6 years. He was promoted to Senior Forester and Timber Management Forester on the 54,000-acre Goethe State Forest Tract where he worked for 5 years. In March of 1998 Natural Resource Planning Services hired Jeff as a Senior Consulting Forester. His responsibilities include prescribed burning 6,000 acres of timberland per year, managing timberland, conducting timber sales, supervising logging operations, writing forest management plans, and conducting timber market analysis, to name a few. Jeff’s favorite management tasks are prescribed burning, timber sales, and writing Forest Management Plans.
