Born and raised in the St. Augustine, Florida area, Gator practically grew up in the forests and on the waters of pristine "old Florida". Realizing that he did not want to give up the opportunity to spend as much time as possible outside, Gator began pursuing a career as a Wildlife Officer as soon as he was old enough to work in law enforcement. After a successful 30-year career, 25 of which as a Wildlife Officer, Gator retired from law enforcement and joined NRPS as Timberland Security Manager. In that role Gator oversees NRPS' hunting lease management program, which encompasses some 150,000 acres, as well as provides timberland security consulting services to various NRPS clients. Gator's broad experience gained from a career of dealing with hunting and law enforcement related issues makes him uniquely qualified for this important role within the firm.

Gator still enjoys being outside and spends many of his working days on our clients' timberland properties working with our hunting clubs. When not working, you will likely either find Gator on the water or in the woods, or spending time at his cabin in the mountains of North Georgia.
